The man seated in this video came with respect to a complain of his family issue. According to him, his late father had fish farms, farm land, poultry, bakeries and other properties in one large land close to Shell Petroleum Development Corporation (SPDC) where a pollution resulting from the oil spillage happened resulting to damage on the land. He said his late father had taken the pollution case to court against the company who is meant to compensate him for the huge lose on his land but the case lasted in the court for over 10 years between which he lost his father and then his elder brother took up the case from there with the support of a non government organization to get justice and due compensation.
His allegation in his complaint is that his elder brother who took over from his father had gotten the compensation from the company through the NGO and is refusing to share the money with him and his other siblings but using the money and this position to intimidate them. A call was placed across to his elder brother to hear his own side of the story that doesn’t seem to be as he explained so they agreed to have a mediation.
