“THE COMPANY DECLINED TO PAY THE EXPENSES OF MY SURGERY FOLLOWING THE INJURY I SUSTAINED”

In this video, Mr. Anthony Ifeanyichukwu, the complainant, shares his distressing experience where the company he works for allegedly declined to cover the expenses of his surgery following an injury sustained while on duty. According to his account, the incident occurred on September 13, 2023, during their return from an official assignment in Ondo state. The journey was impeded by traffic caused by a roadblock, and after the obstruction was cleared by other truck drivers, the complainant’s truck moved first.

During a heated argument that ensued, Mr. Ifeanyichukwu recounts being struck with a wood by one of the individuals involved. Unaware at the time, he later discovered that his arm had been dislocated, leading to the realization that he could no longer use his hand.

The crux of the matter is that the complainant asserts that his company has refused to cover the expenses for his necessary surgery, which amounts to one hundred thousand naira (N100,000). He attributes the injury to negligence on the part of his boss during the heated argument. Seeking justice, Mr. Ifeanyichukwu has brought his plea to the Brekete Family, hoping for their assistance in resolving this matter.
